Q. Whenever I try to move a column in Excel in between 2 other columns I delete another column!

Very frustrating isn't it. I suggest that you make sure the column you are transferring is highlighted and then right click "Cut".

Now move cursor to where you want the cut column to be inserted. Click and highlight that line completely then right click and select "Insert". Your new column should now be there and the info that was there should be in the column below. If not click "CTRL Z" to undo your move and try again.

Q. I have allocated the wrong amount to an invoice in MYOB! How can I undo it?

That is annoying isn't it? but not too much stress. Try this: Find the payment in "transaction journal", Click "Edit" on your top menu bar. Then select "delete payment". Now you have cleared that you can go back and allocated the payment correctly.

Q. Hi, I am looking for cartoons that I can use in a group I take. How can I find them and how do I download them?

A. Goggle the topic you want add cartoon and search images (usually in top left hand corner of your google page). When you find a cartoon you like click into the page and right click the image. From there you can "save to" and put it into a file like "My pictures". Remember it is important to respect copyright laws when doing this.

A. It can be tricky giving feedback on websites your friends are involved. Feedback can be very helpful so if you think you have the time to help it may be easier to answer some preset questions. Q. Hi there, Problems with my sound on my Skype. I cannot believe I had a young very nice lady come to me, about 3 weeks ago and checked WHY I could not get sound. She fixed it and no worries but as I have but as I have not been able to Skype to my sister, as she has been away, tonight I tried and she could not hear me.!!!!

A. It may pay to check a few other contacts on your Skype and see if they are unable to hear you, in case it is a problem at your sister's end. If you are still having issues give this a go...

Go to "tools" on your Skype page and select "options" and then "sound devices".

From there you should check that the mic is set correctly. So if your webcamera is a Microsoft camera. Check that the mic has been set to the "Microsoft" option.

Remember to "Save" whatever settings you make.

Q. My computer is running so slow how can I make it faster?

Q. How do I get my SIM card out of my Iphone?

A. At the top of the iphone there is a little inserted hole. If you press something down into it the SIM card holder will pop out.

Q. I used to be able to see what was in my messages at the bottom of my screen but suddenly it has disappeared. I have tried several things but can't get it to come back. Help.

A. So I am hearing that you were able to preview your messages at the bottom of your screen but now you can't? If this is the case try this. Click on the "view" tab at the top of your screen, then click "Preview Pane" and it should reappear at the bottom of your page. Let us know if you need further help. A. Well this is a very important question and we are glad you asked! When you are on the justbeforedinner.co.nz home page. Cut and paste the address from the top of the page. Q. I just got sent an attachment in an email and although it comes up with the Word "W" it says ". DOCX" instead of ". doc". and I can't open it! I have Microsoft Word on my computer. Please help?

A. Microsoft has introduced the . DOCX format to replace doc format. This is causing a few problems if you have a slightly older version of Microsoft Office or other applications like Open Office. For Microsoft Office you can install a compatibility pack directly from Microsoft. You can click here to be linked directly through to Microsoft Download Page.

Q. How did I put a tick in an Excel spreadsheet column?

A. Type an "a" in the column, highlight and then change the font to "webdings". You may also want to centre the column so the tick is in the middle.

Q. How do I make a translucent picture on paint.net?

A. When you have opened the picture you want to change. Click the "magic wand" icon on your tool panel (usually at the top left hand side). Go into "window" tab and tick the "translucent" box.

Now use the wand to select the area you want to remove and delete them. Those deleted areas should look like a checker board pattern.

When you have finished save the picture as a .GIF or a .PNG.

Now your picture should be translucent when you add it to your page!
