Q. What is HTML?

A. HTML stands for HyperText Markup Language. Basically it is like the recipe that tells your browser (e.g internet explorer) how to present the web page to you when it opens it from the World Wide Web. How to lay it out on the page, what colour and font to use etc.

Q. How do I make justbeforedinner.co.nz my homepage? I am running Internet explorer 5.

A. Well this is a very important question and we are glad you asked! When you are on the justbeforedinner.co.nz home page. Cut and paste the address from the top of the page. Click on "tools", "Internet options", Paste the link in the "Home page" box and then click on "apply". Let us know if you are running another browser and we will post the information asap.

A. Although people talk about them interchangeably they are not the same thing. Basically the internet is an international network of computers that communicate with one another. The WWW is one of many services operating within the internet. It uses the internet to access and link websites.
