This weeks "How to" article is brought to you by Leon (age 9). He has taken plasticine, a camera and a wonderful imagination and created an amazing claymation. Thanks for showing us how you did it Leon!

Make and paint a background
Paint your shoebox

Get some poster paint and a shoebox and paint it

Make your characters
Make your plasticine characters

Make plasticine models of your characters

Move your characters - 1 tiny movement at a time taking a picture every movement.

 Move each character a tiny bit at a time

Download the pictures to the computer.

Put into Windows Movie Maker

Clicking “import pictures” and choosing the selection that you want.

Put into movie maker

 

Add the sound.

On the left hand side in Movie Maker there is a "Capture Video" area.

Click on the "Import audio or music"

Find the music you want and upload.

 

 

 

How to speed up the photos to match the music.

Highlight the pictures you want to speed up and Click on “Video effects” on the left hand side of the screen.

Adjust speed

Press “speed up” double four times.

Add titles and credits.

Go to "tools" at the top of your page.

Then click "Titles and Credits"

Once you are happy with the movie you can save it to your computer, the web, cd, email....
