Terri Irwin bravely shares her life with husband Steve, “The crocodile hunter” and their two children. The book steps through how they met, their experiences while getting their TV series, the addition of their children and finally the terrible news about Steve’s untimely death..
The book contains all Steve’s catch phrases and promotes his causes but certainly isn’t the tell-all type book we usually see from celebrities. Written by Terri shortly after Steve’s death it is apparent she is grieving and shocked as she writes. Terri says in the book “As I write this, I am still waiting for Steve to walk through the door. His toothbrush is in the bathroom…”
Steve Irwin was such an honest, animated and open bloke that although I don’t feel I learnt a lot more about him, it was really interesting to discover what Terri did before moving to Australia. She was also involved in saving animals, including a rescued cougar called Malina, who thanked her by nearly ripping her throat out.If you are one of the millions of people stunned by Steve Irwin’s death, give it a read. I mean “Crikey! who wouldn’t want to remember our Cobber Steve!
